When, however, the shaft 90 is released, the ratchet wheels 83, 85 remain interlocked and transmit the spring drive to the shaft 90 and thence to the clockwork movement. The shaft 90 is normally locked, and the ratchet teeth 84 of the wheel 83 ride past the ratchet teeth 86 of the wheel 85, which yields against the springs 87 when the spring is wound by the rotation of the spindle 39 driven by means of pinions 82, 42 from a shaft 71. Relates to clockwork fuzes which are simultaneously set and wound up, and consists in making the ratchet clutch therefor of two crown wheels 83, 85, the wheel 83 fast with the spindle 39 of the spring drum, and the wheel 85 loose within a ring 100 on the wheel 83 and pressed against the same by spring fingers 87, the wheel 85 being further provided with an internal ring of teeth 88 in mesh with a pinion 89 on a shaft 90.
